Seven Secrets: Review of Issues #1-3

From the brilliant mind of Tom Taylor (DCeased) and artist Daniele Di Nicuolo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) comes a creative new story published by BOOM! Studios. The first three issues are out now and they captivate the imagination. The artwork is extraordinary, with colorist Walter Baiamonte and letterer Ed Dukeshire joining Daniele. The balance between action and plot is well done, captivating the imagination and keeping you on the edge of your seat.

Narrated by the character Casper, a secret organization protecting seven secrets from the world is under attack by a mysterious opponent. Casper himself was a secret at birth, born to a couple who should have never been together. He was taken away and raised by the order. He became a skilled fighter with above average intelligence, impressing his teachers. He only met his parents after another student let it slip who they were; the keeper and holder of the seventh secret. While they still remained distant because of the rules in place by the secret organization, they were allowed to help train him.

At the age of 15 Casper’s father was killed, and trials soon started to find his replacement. Proving himself to the organization through hard trials, Casper earns the spot to be on the team protecting the seventh secret. This is just in time to face off against the unknown opponent who has literally come knocking down their door.
